Amnon Bar-Lev
President
Check Point Software

A noted visionary in cyber security and regular honoree on the prestigious list of CRN Channel Chiefs, Amnon Bar-Lev is the president of Check Point Software Technologies, overseeing the worldwide sales and marketing; global partner programs; business development; and technical services for the multi-billion-dollar, global enterprise.

For over a decade Mr. Bar-Lev has been an influential figure in the strategic growth and success of Check Point. His tenure has included the market-leading increase in revenue and expansion of the company’s award-winning technology portfolio, as well Check Point’s high-profile acquisitions of Lacoon Mobile Security, Hyperwise and Nokia’s security appliance business. Today, Check Point stands as the largest pure-play security vendor globally, protecting over 100,000 organizations of all sizes.

Mr. Bar-Lev began his career in the Israeli Air Force, where he quickly advanced into leadership positions within the operational and administration units. A Computer Science and Management graduate of Tel-Aviv University, Mr. Bar-Lev went on to found and serve as CEO for Xpert Integrated Systems, prior to joining Check Point as the company’s vice president of technical services. He was promoted to Check Point president in 2011.
 
Joel Brenner
Former Head of US Counterintelligence Policy; Former Inspector General
National Security Agency

Joel Brenner is the author of America the Vulnerable: Inside the New Threat Matrix of Digital Espionage, Crime, and Warfare, available in paperback as Glass Houses: Privacy, Secrecy, and Cyber Insecurity in a Transparent World. He is an expert on cyber security and privacy and can provide insight and practical strategies for businesses.

Brenner is the former head of the national counterintelligence for the director of national intelligence. He is also the former senior counsel and inspector general of the National Security Agency, where he was in charge of internal investigations, audit, and inspections in the world's largest intelligence agency.

Brenner specializes in cyber and physical security, data protection and privacy, intelligence law, the administration of classified information and facilities, and the regulation of sensitive cross-border transactions. He is the Robert E Wilhelm Fellow at MIT's Center for International Studies and has years of experience inside and outside government involving national and homeland security matters, including the Committee on Foreign Investment in the US, known as CFIUS; the liability of foreign governments; export controls; securities regulations; and grand jury proceedings. He has also written about intelligence oversight, privacy, and Presidential authority to suspend or prohibit foreign takeovers of U.S. firms. Brenner is often quoted in the national media on data security, privacy, and intelligence issues. Brenner runs his own legal and consulting office in Washington, DC.

 
Devon Bryan
Vice President, Global Technical Security Services

As VP TSS, Devon is responsible for working across the organization’s geographically dispersed businesses operations and executive teams to drive coordination, consensus and execution to mitigate emerging cyber and financial risk issues impacting ADP’s products and services globally. Devon oversees ADP’s worldwide technical information security strategy and execution, coordinating the delivery of appropriate protection to maximize the performance and reputation of ADP. Devon provides executive leadership over ADP’s converged business intelligence advanced protection platform which fuses diverse security information from globally deployed monitoring and logging assets to enrich the data between disparate security technologies, enabling high-speed analytics, and maximizing the protection capabilities through unified analytics.
 
Julia King

Julia King is a national award-winning business and technology journalist with more than 25 years’ experience covering IT executive leadership and advancing discussion of digital disruption and business innovation.  Ms. King was the founding executive editor of the award-winning ComputerworldROI magazine and for 10 years served as chief content creator and moderator of   Computerworld's flagship IT Leadership event, the Premier 100 IT Leaders Conference.

Prior to joining Computerworld in 1994, Ms. King worked for national business and technology magazines and as a daily newspaper reporter. Her IT reporting has earned her a Jesse H. Neal Award, often referred to as the Pulitzer Prize of the business press. Most recently, she received a 2014 Folio Gold Award for Editorial Excellence. She is also the recipient of numerous national editorial awards from the American Society of Business Press Editors. She is a frequent presenter and panel moderator at IT executive and technology industry conferences. She is editor of a book titled Executives’ Guide to the Wireless Workforce, which was published by John Wiley & Sons.

Ms. King holds a Master's Degree in International Relations and a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science, both from University of Pittsburgh. She is based in the Philadelphia area.

 
Jay Leek
Chief Information Security Officer, Information Technology

Jay Leek is the Chief Information Security Officer for Blackstone and joined the firm in May 2012.  

Prior to joining Blackstone, Mr. Leek established, built, and headed up global information risk and security programs for Equifax and Nokia.  Over the past 19 years, Mr. Leek has also worked as a product manager for information security vendors as well as a consultant to numerous telecommunications companies, government agencies and financial institutions, assisting them with business development, strategic planning and architectural design required to meet their information risk and security objectives.  

Mr. Leek received a Bachelor of Science in Information Assurance and Security summa cum laude from Capella University, and he is a Certified Information Security Manager, Certified Information Systems Security Professional and Certified Information Systems Auditor.
 
Tim Ogden
Senior Director, Global Fraud Prevention
ADP
Timothy Ogden is the Senior Director of ADP's Global Fraud Prevention Services Program. His responsibilities include the management of ADP’s Global Fraud Prevention, Reduction and Investigation efforts spanning all business units worldwide. He manages ADP’s fraud and financial crimes operations, intelligence, and disruptive action programs aimed at the protection of ADP and client funds and personal information.

Prior to his current position, Tim was ADP’s Lead Financial Investigator where he developed innovative solutions to reduce incidents of fraud and theft perpetrated against ADP. In that capacity, he developed a proactive fraud detection process focusing on “money mule” accounts, which prevented millions of dollars in cyber fraud loss.

Prior to joining ADP, he served thirty years in public service as a career law enforcement officer and executive. He initially served with the Wilmington Delaware Police Department and subsequently joined the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) as a Special Agent. He was instrumental in redefining DEA’s undercover anti-money laundering program and functioned as a Subject Matter Expert on financial crimes for the Department of Justice. He was a member of the Senior Executive Service and concluded his career as the Special Agent in Charge of the DEA Philadelphia Field Division. He earned a Master’s Degree in Education from Seton Hall University and also completed leadership certification programs at the University of Virginia, Duke University and Harvard University.
 
Shahar Tal
Head of Vulnerability Research
Check Point Software; former CTO, Israeli Defense Forces

Shahar Tal leads the vulnerability research group at Check Point. In his role, Tal and his team identify, expose, and address flaws in software and Internet platforms. Prior to joining Check Point, Shahar held leadership roles in the Israel Defense Force (IDF), where he was trained and served as an officer in elite technology R&D units.

 
Chris Tarbell
Former FBI Special Agent

Former FBI Special Agent Chris Tarbell is one of the most successful cyber security law enforcement officials of all time. He is the man responsible for infiltrating hacker group Anonymous and taking down the notorious dark web drug trafficking site the Silk Road. During these investigations, he led the tracking and arrest of two of the most infamous figures in cyberspace - Sabu, who was at one point the most influential hacker in the world, and Dread Pirate Roberts, who was later convicted for his involvement with the Silk Road.

With 17 years in law enforcement - including time in the FBI's preeminent cyber crime squad - and extremely rare insight into the mindset of the hacker community, Tarbell is the nation's preeminent voice on cyber security.

Daniel Wiley, Head of Incident Response, manages Check Point’s advanced security operations including Check Point’s Incident Response Service. In this role, Wiley works with customers to identify, contain and remediate threats and to provide actionable intelligence. He is an experienced cyber security leader with a track record that spans more than 20 years in the cybersecurity industry, including government, civilian and service provider environments.
